Dear Brave Souls:
Tiny Star Meditation for Peace...
Peace might be relative.
Choose a star
out of the night sky.
Saddle it up,
or leap on
bareback
out of the night sky.
Saddle it up,
or leap on
bareback
and ride its
wild zoom
and bump
through the
galaxy
wild zoom
and bump
through the
galaxy
Look out!
Look out!
There's
another
star
headed
straight
for your
head,
Duck!
Look out!
There's
another
star
headed
straight
for your
head,
Duck!
A black hole
comes spinning
straight
toward your
emptiness,
so quick!
hang
upside down
in the stirrups
comes spinning
straight
toward your
emptiness,
so quick!
hang
upside down
in the stirrups
A time
warp
might come
a-spiraling
through
your own
heart warp...
Go with it;
it might be
a doorway
to another
system...
warp
might come
a-spiraling
through
your own
heart warp...
Go with it;
it might be
a doorway
to another
system...
Except
maybe,
if you
just go
with the rhythm
of the rough ride,
in and out
and over and
under,
this warp
will not
be a collision,
but rather
a weaving
of peace
with The Star,
not you,
at blessed Center.
maybe,
if you
just go
with the rhythm
of the rough ride,
in and out
and over and
under,
this warp
will not
be a collision,
but rather
a weaving
of peace
with The Star,
not you,
at blessed Center.
What blessing?
you might ask.
The Blessing
of being able
to imagine
The Eternal Star
of Peace,
to begin with...
you might ask.
The Blessing
of being able
to imagine
The Eternal Star
of Peace,
to begin with...
And... being able
to throw yourself
across the Star's back
and thereby remember
you too as a tiny star
colliding
with The Star,
form an even
large Star force
than before--
to throw yourself
across the Star's back
and thereby remember
you too as a tiny star
colliding
with The Star,
form an even
large Star force
than before--
radiating
outward
in a beautiful
pattern of
fully lit
Light.
outward
in a beautiful
pattern of
fully lit
Light.
In Peace.
At Peace.
For as long
as Star
Riding
is in memory,
as ceremony,
as self-blessing
practice.
At Peace.
For as long
as Star
Riding
is in memory,
as ceremony,
as self-blessing
practice.
This comes with love to you and yours dear souls. Rest. That too is peace; as is soft sincere voice the voice of peace; as is quieting of one's own mind by understanding one's own shadow jumpiness from old triggers... and quieting it with the SOUND of the rhythm of one's breath, AND by holding an image of The Star at the center of one's peacefully striving starry heart. As you see, star light is often very much like a mandala, ancient symbol for what I'd call, "r'eturning to 'sleeping child peace,' while awake. "
